Synopsis
Celluloid Works, Volume One gathers a series of short films by the artist-filmmaker Atoosa Pour Hosseini. Influenced by historical avant-garde cinema, her work explores illusion, reality and perception through the material textures of 8mm and 16mm film alongside digital processes, superimposing imagery and creating entrancing patterns of repetition punctuated by startling interruptions.
